Ruderman This book is so useful in cutting through the BS in supplements and give you the information you need to find just the right thing. I'm so sick of the false vitamins, ridiculous claims, the marketing hype. "It resolved ..." gives me the information I wanted to add just the right one. 6 of 6 people found this review helpful. Best book read easily on the use of supplements by Florence Baska is a wonderful book, is presented, complete with sensitive information on medical research in a reader-friendly format .. 8 of 9 people found this review helpful. Fair, balanced and fun! Christopher Gaffney, MPH, herbs and other dietary supplements are widely available in the United States as a complementary or alternative therapies used. Nearly half of patients on alternative therapies for chronic diseases associated with over-the-counter and prescription medications, but only 50% of patients discuss the use of alternative therapies with their doctors. Must make this work (in my opinion) a purpose beyond the obvious, namely to close the knowledge gap that exists between physicians and patients through a rigorous, scientifically verifiable content that is both reader-friendly and useful to narrow. Dr. Schulman inspired patient (in his book) to learn about the interaction between mind and body while using a scientific approach to educating the public about the use of alternative / complementary therapies in the healing process. "Solve it with supplements" provides a thorough review of not only the use of phytonutrient products in practice, but also the scientific principles behind them (not too technical). He even throws in a little spice to the quiz! See all 12 customer reviews ....
