The authors are objective in their description, and rely on the use of double-blind studies to determine whether a substance has an effect on a particular state. The book has a clever format - there is a section for conditions and a separate section for additions, making it easy to quickly find what you want. The book is full of cross references and also lists all the scientific publications. The writing style is engaging, the book is a good book and a good reference. 5 of 5 people found this review helpful. Oldie but authoratative and relevant by Matthew Polly is an excellent reference work, by a competent and impartial written MD. Although the raw material will go a 6-year change in a field of the day, this is an excellent (and cheap) starting point for what it's worth, all the material (now updated), with additional entries are now online via a link the main author of the website [...]. I personally enjoy keeping proper books and wrinkles more than look at CRTs for the type of study of this material requires. For what it's worth all the references to the older book and updated material available in online versions. (Some previous reviewers were very influenced by the omission of references in the printed edition.) What I write for their accuracy. By that I mean it was not too finely, as you might find in a medical text, it was not to outline how you see so many used texts in those days. I spent my books with texts, adaptations of other books (rarely investigated, and the strict primary sources / criticism as the author did in this case). Thumbs up! 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful Tops Absolutely F.
