About the Author Dr Abram Hoffer is a founding father of the alternative health movement whose pioneering research in nutritional therapy inspired Linus Pauling and Ewan Cameron in their work with Vitamin C as well as Evan and Wilfrid Shute in their work with Vitamin E. Born in the town of Hoffer, Saskatchewan, in 1917, he studied in chemistry, medicine, and psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan (M.S.A.), University of Minnesota (Ph.D.), and University of Toronto (M.D.).Dr Jonathan Prousky is the Chief Medical Officer and an Associate Professor of Clinical Nutrition at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
