By Kristina Müller Even $ 2.99 is too much for this book. Everything that is written in it is not much more than common sense and general knowledge. Useful facts for healthy nutrition are negligible. Why did the author call this book "A Guide to..." since all that is done is condeming the food pyramid and the lack of educating people regarding healthy eating. Maybe it is just on my Kindle but every other page pops up again and again throughout the book so I read everything several times (even though I was paging forward) with only some new lines in between. Flaw or tactic ? I was expecting a guide through all the nutrients, where to find them and what to eat specifically to stay healthy. I also thought to encounter some synopsis of the different dietary approaches and their pros and cons (GLYX, Low-Carb, Low-Fat, Paleo etc.). The author did not even name not to mention explain the different fats. But at least I know now that fruit and veggies are healthy, duh. Oh, and exercising is good for you as well. Thank you for a book the world does not need. See all 1 customer reviews...
